This past weekend we have interviewed a few active video bloggers and gotten some really good feedback on how they interact with YouTube and their bloggs. They have also listed a few functions that they either miss or find lacking in the current system.
Today we concluded our interviews and have started with the pre-prototyping which we most likely will finish tomorrow and hence start with the next iterating of our project. Bellow you can enjoy some of our hard work in the form of some pictures.
In order to gain a greater understanding of the functionality of YouTube webpage we recorded a couple of videos and uploaded them to youtubes webpage. They are viewable at our profiles enordvall and lucretii. We also commented and send messages in order further understand YouTube's notification system
Towards the end of our meeting we noticed that YouTube had released a new version of their android application. In this new version they had addressed a number of vital flaws in their old version. In the new version one can for example make comments, record and upload videos without leaving the actual application which is a big plus. However the actual application is still not very customizable resulting in a restriction of use.
